Brow Lamination is a cosmetic procedure that involves the use of a special solution to shape and set eyebrow hairs in place. The process works by applying a chemical lotion to the brows, which helps to relax the hair follicles and make them more pliable. The brow hairs are then brushed upwards and set in place using a neutralizer, giving the eyebrows a fuller, more defined look. Brow lamination is a popular alternative to microblading and other semi-permanent eyebrow treatments, as it is non-invasive and typically lasts for 6-8 weeks. It is suitable for individuals who have unruly or sparse eyebrows and desire a more polished, groomed appearance.
As part of your Brow Lamination aftercare:
We also recommend that you follow these guidelines in the run up to and the days after your Brow Lamination treatment:
• Avoid using exfoliating (be it AHA, BHA or scrubs) and anti-ageing skincare around the brow area for three days either side of your treatment
• Avoid fake tanning products (including gradual tan) on the face for three days either side of your treatment, as it can discolor the eyebrow tint (unless you’re after khaki colored brows)
• Your stylist will apply some make up at the end of your treatment, however you should avoid applying any further heavy make up (foundations, etc.) on the area around the brow for 24h
How to keep brows in shape after brow lamination?
Brow lamination does not permanently set your hairs in your desired, brushed up position. It breaks down the bonds in your hair so that you can easily manipulate them into the look you want. All you’ll need to do is brush them back into place with a spoolie brush in the morning to get them back to that fluffy finish – no product required. These results will last for 6-8 weeks. To really enhance laminated brows and maintain that freshly laminated look right up to your next appointment, our LAMI LASHES BROWISTA STYLING PASTE is a must have. It moisturizes; nourishes; fixes hairs. The gel makes the effect of light styling, to the effect of lamination of the eyebrows.
